A Field Engineering Technician is a software engineer specialized in electronic technology software PLC and Motion of the electronic platform installed on machines. The Field Engineering Technician is responsible for writing, modifying, and testing the software of the machine before installation by the customer. After installation, the Field Engineering Technician checks on site that all the correct functionalities are working properly to ensure the machines are fully functional and ready for customer production.
Main requirements:
- Expertise in software development for electronic platforms and PLC systems
- Ability to write, modify, and test machine software
- Capability to perform on-site functional verification of machines post-installation
Responsibilities:
- Write and modify software for machine electronic platforms
- Test software thoroughly before customer installation
- Perform on-site checks after installation to verify all functionalities
- Ensure machines are fully operational and ready for customer production
