A Postdoctoral position in the area of Human-centered AI at the School of Engineering, Jönköping University focusing on research within the XPECT project, addressing tailored explanations from AI systems to users' expectations.
Main requirements:
- Doctoral degree obtained within the last three years in Computer Science, Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Human-Robot Interaction, or Artificial Intelligence
- Experience in programming, preferably Python
- Fluency in spoken and written English
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality research focused on human-centered AI explanations within the XPECT project
- Support supervising PhD students
- Contribute as part of the research team including collaboration with Prof. Maria Riveiro
- Teach or carry out other departmental duties up to 20% of full time
Required hard skills:
- Programming (preferably Python)
- Research in Human-Centered AI, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields
