System Technician Network & Firewall

Work with network operations and secure infrastructure in a critical and security-classified IT environment, supporting development and testing activities in a technically broad environment.
Main requirements:
  • Experience independently performing tasks with documented methods or guidance
  • At least 3 years experience with LAN/WAN – installation, configuration and operation of routers and switches in large networks
  • At least 1 year experience with IT operations in a geographically distributed organization
  • At least 1 year experience working in server halls and technical spaces
  • At least 1 year experience installing, configuring and operating firewalls
  • At least 1 year experience with technical documentation
  • At least 1 year experience with Microsoft Windows Server (2016 or later)
  • At least 1 year experience with virtualization
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Ability to pass a security clearance due to working in a security-classified environment
Responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor and configure network infrastructure in a large isolated system cluster separated from internet and production networks
  • Install and configure network components, manage VLAN and routing
  • Document technical changes
  • Administer firewalls
  • Support work with virtual servers, operating system installations, troubleshooting and technical documentation
  • Participate in physical work in server halls when needed
