Join Veritaz AB in Stockholm as a Senior Backend & Data Engineer to develop and maintain scalable backend solutions and integrations, collaborate within a Digital Procurement team, and drive operational data into central data platforms using modern technologies.
Main requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in backend and/or data engineering
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot, REST APIs, event-driven systems, and microservices
  • Experience in data modelling, ETL processes, and modern data platforms
  • Interest in business-facing configuration and system ownership
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend solutions and integrations using Kotlin, Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional Digital Procurement team supporting procurement and payment processes
  • Work with event-driven architecture to ensure reliable, real-time data flow between systems
  • Implement and enhance integrations enabling seamless Source-to-Pay processes
  • Drive operational data into the central data platform using AWS S3, DBT, Snowflake, and Power BI
  • Partner with data analysts to ensure data quality, accuracy, and accessibility for reporting and analytics
